Refund and Cancellation Policy

IDCardSeva is a digital, on-demand AI service. There are no physical goods. This policy explains when and how a refund is issued.

1. Charge-on-Success Model

Per-card processing fees (currently ₹1.99 per card) are deducted only when the AI extraction returns a valid result with at least the critical fields populated for that card type. If the extraction fails, returns blank fields, or your input is rejected as unreadable, no fee is charged. No refund is needed in that case.

2. Wallet Top-ups

  • Wallet top-ups (₹30 / ₹100 / ₹500 / ₹1,000 etc.) are non-refundable in cash once successfully credited to your wallet.
  • The balance does not expire and is used solely for Smart Card processing (₹1.99 per card). All design tools (ID Maker, Photo Studio, Resume Builder, Image Editor, Template Studio) are free.
  • If a payment is debited from your bank but the wallet has not been credited within 24 hours, email us the payment reference. We will reconcile with the gateway and credit the wallet, or — if the gateway confirms the payment never reached us — guide you through filing a chargeback with your bank.

3. Eligible Refund Cases

You may request a refund (in the form of equivalent wallet credit OR a reversal to the source payment method, at our discretion) within 7 days of the relevant transaction in the following cases:

  • Duplicate top-up — the same payment was credited twice due to a system error.
  • Mistaken top-up — you topped up a clearly wrong amount and have not yet used the wallet for any paid action.
  • Persistent service failure — a documented inability of IDCardSeva to render any of your purchased outputs over a continuous 7-day window despite reasonable inputs and a working internet connection.

Refunds for charges that have already been used to render and download a card are not eligible, except where the rendering is provably defective (e.g., shipped a blank card image) — in such cases the per-card charge is reversed.

4. Cancellation

  • IDCardSeva has no recurring subscription. There is nothing to "cancel" in a billing sense.
  • You may close your account at any time by contacting us. On closure, the residual wallet balance is forfeit unless the closure was specifically due to our failure to deliver the Service, in which case the residual balance is refunded to the original payment method (subject to gateway charges).

5. How to Request a Refund

Email support.idcardseva@gmail.com with:

  • Your registered IDCardSeva email
  • The payment reference (Cashfree order ID or cf_payment_id)
  • The reason for the refund request
  • Any supporting screenshots

Acknowledged within 1 business day. Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method (where reversal is requested) or instantly as wallet credit.

6. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback through your bank without first attempting to resolve through our support channel may result in immediate suspension of your account pending investigation. We always prefer to resolve directly.
